tibet expedition >> Cho-Oyu (8,201 m) (from Tibet side) |
Cho- Oyu is the sixth highest mountain in the world. It is very popular among the climbers and considered the easiest of the 8000 m mountains. We drive all the way to Cho- Oyu Base Camp after crossing the Nepal- Tibet border (Kodari) via Nyalam and Tingri. Then, we will be rewarded with a magnificent view of Cho- Oyu to the north, surrounded by the unforgettable presence of the world's mightiest mountains including the towering bulk of Mt. Everest. Normally, we set up 4 camps before attempting to scale the summit.
