Two major river, the Darondi and Budi Gandaki carve their way roughly north south through this area and lying to the north east of the Budi Gandaki is the Ganesh Himal, Paldor, trekking/ Alpine peak lies to the southeast of the Ganesh Himal leading down to the Tiru Danda ridge. In the spring the rhododendron forests here a blaze of colors. It is possible to link this area with a trek which includes the more well known areas of Langtang, Gosainkunda and the Helambu village lying to the east of the Trisuli River as well.
