GHOREPANI-POONHILL TREK

  1. Ghorepani/Poon Hill Trek is a colorful short foray into the Annapurna region. The trail winds through patchwork valleys, dense mossy forests and past icy waterfalls where you stop to cool your face. Enjoy trekking in the spectacular mountain scenery through charming villages inhabited by the Gurungs, Magars, dense rhododendron forests full of birds and deep sub-tropical valleys, all set below the Annapurnas with the picturesque peak of Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) Peak dominating the skyline.

  3. At the climax of this trek you will climb Poonhill at dawn to enjoy one of the most spectacular mountains capes on earth. As the sun touches the snow-capped summits the Himalayan giants, Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and Annapurna (8091 m) along with a maze of other peaks, slowly begin to appear, like magic, before our eyes. It is a rewarding trek that can be enjoyed by every lover of nature amidst the beautiful landscape.

  6. Day 01. Arrival in Kathmandu airport then transfer to hotel in KTM with guide
    Day 02. Kathmandu sightseeing tours
    Day 03. Drive KTM / POKHARA overnight at hotel in Pokhara
    Day 04. Pokhara to Nayapul drive then trek to Ghandrung (1950m)
    Day 05. Trek to Tadapani (2130m)
    Day 06. Trek to Ghorepani (2860m)
    Day 07. Visit Poon Hill (3210) / Ghorepani / Tirkhedhunga 1540m)
    Day 08. Trek Birethanti / Nayapul then drive back to Pokhara over night in Pokhara
    Day 09. Flight Pokhara / KTM
    Day 10. Departure day.
