Annapurna region >> The Royal Trek : |
This trek has been named as Royal Trek (1800 m) after Prince Charles of Wales visited through the small hills in early eighties with his 90 entourage. The Royal Trek is highly recommended for those who have never experienced about trekking before and equally suitable for family as well. As the route does not ascend to high altitude, the climate is warmer and you will have the opportunity to stroll through the rice terraced fields. It offers magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Manaslu & Lamjung Himalayas. It gives an opportunity to explore the villages of the middle hills mingling with Gurungs who are mountain tribes and known for bravery.
