tibet expedition >> Shisapangma expedition (8027m): |
This peak is the 14th highest mountain of all 8,000m-peaks, despite being only 80 km northeast of Kathmandu. It lies entirely in Tibet. The mountain is hidden from Nepal, tucked behind the Langtang Himal and the main Himalayan ridge. It has two summits, the commonly climbed lower summit is 8012m and the higher true summit is 8027m, a point that our expedition guide really wants to reach!
